News from WWOOF. This is worldwide and the farms in Britain would welcome you for just the weekend . You won’t be sorry!

Help us create empowering connections to food, farming and people.

Mayana was working in NYC when she felt drawn to know where her food comes from and connect with the people who grow it. One train ride north later, she found herself on a family vegetable farm in Vermont, ready to unplug from daily life and reconnect with the land:

“WWOOF helped me explore a whole new way of living. This city girl held chickens, harvested, and even moved sheep. I was surprised at how much I loved being a part of the process of food ... I loved picking vegetables that we would then eat and cook together that night."

Opening the door for people to meet and experience hands-on the benefits of growing their own nutritious food year-round, her WWOOF experience impacted the way Mayana now thinks about the food she buys and eats in NYC.

"When I get food or go to the farmers market, I feel a different connection and gratefulness for all the ingredients. I have become more mindful and grateful for food and the people who grow my fruits and vegetables."
Will you help us reach more people like Mayana &
provide life-changing farm experiences?
